The Central Islip High School guidance department, led by Mr. Brian Deaner, hosted a three-day Common App and Naviance Workshop to help rising seniors get a head start on the college application process.
The Extended School Year program students and staff visited the Central Islip Civic Council, where the "Ink and Impact" team hand-delivered handmade cards to the staff as part of an initiative to bring extra kindness to the community.
Students also had the opportunity to rotate through interactive stations, including the beekeeper, schoolhouse and blacksmith exhibits.
