Central Islip School District welcomes Joanne Linares to Mulligan Elementary School as a fourth grade Bilingual Teacher. Mrs. Linares comes to CI Schools from Aquebogue Elementary School, Riverhead, where she taught Kindergarten in the Dual Language Program. Prior to teaching in Aquebogue Elementary, Mrs. Linares was a Second Grade Dual Language Teacher in the South Huntington School District.
Mrs. Linares received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Childhood Education with a Bilingual Extension from SUNY Old Westbury, and an Associates of Science in Business Accounting from Nassau County Community College. I am super excited to be teaching in Central Islip because I do work for my community through my church, and now I can see how my students develop and grow, Mrs. Linares said.
