Mrs. Archaga's fourth grade class at Mulligan Elementary School recently learned all about the Tuskegee Airmen. Students participated in three interactive lessons to understand the reasons why the Tuskegee Airmen had the very best fighter escort record of any fighter group of the US Army Air Forces in World War II, in addition to understanding how education enables one to succeed in life.

The students made use of 3-2-1 cards as well as technology throughout the lessons. Additionally, they made use of photo displays on six paperboards to show the chronological order of the history of the Tuskegee Airmen, as well as the many different people associated with them.
