Student Foreign Access Requests

The Central Islip School District does not generally provide foreign travel access accommodations to students to access district programs while out of the country.  However, we understand that in certain situations it is in the best interest of student to assist with access while in a foreign country.

Only a teacher or administrator can request a foreign county access request on behalf of a student and this must be completed prior to their departure date

If you need to request access to district resources (including email) on behalf of a student, please submit a help ticket at least three school days before their departure. A technician will configure access for the specific dates outlined in your request.

For Foreign Travel:

  • Submit an online help ticket through the MyApps Portal (Central Islip Help Ticket).
  • Choose Foreign Travel from the dropdown menu.
  • Provide the student name, email address and ID Number
  • Provide the country or countries they will be visiting and the dates of travel.
  • Access will be configured according to the specific countries and dates provided.

Important:
If you do not submit a request in advance and the student’s account becomes locked due to an attempt to access it from a foreign country, we will not be able to unlock it until after their return.
