Foreign Access Requests

Employee Foreign Access Requests

Any staff member who would like to access district resources while travelling outside the United States must open a help ticket at least 3 school days prior to your departure date.  The technician will set-up access for your trip for the specific dates on the request.

Puerto Rico is a US Territory but is a foreign controlled internet connection and considered "Foreign Travel" for the purposes of requesting access.  If you need access while in Puerto Rico you will need to follow the "Employee Foreign Travel Access Request" process. 

Foreign Travel Access Requests:

  • Open an on-line help ticket through the MyApps Portal (Central Islip Help Ticket)
  • Select Foreign Travel from the Dropdown
  • Include the country or countries of travel and dates of travel.
  • The access will be set based on the specific country or countries and dates of travel. 

Important Note:  If you fail to create a request at least 3 school days in advance and your account is locked after you attempt to access while in a foreign county, we will not be able to unlock your account until after your return.

Student Foreign Access Requests

Any staff member who would like to assist a students with NECESSARY access district resources while travelling outside the United States must open a help ticket at least 3 school days prior to their departure date.  The technician will set-up access for your trip for the specific dates on the request.  These requests for students who absolutely need access to district resources while travelling abroad and must be requested in advance of the travel date.

  • Include the Student Name, ID Number and Email Address
  • The access will be set based on the specific country or countries and dates of travel.
