Response to Intervention
Response to Intervention (RTI): If you suspect your child is having academic difficulty due to a possible disability and/or a learning difficulty, the best place to begin is with your child's teacher. RTI services may be made available to students who are not currently identified as needing special education and/or related services, but those who need additional supports or positive interventions related to their behavior in order to succeed in a general education classroom. These services are to be individualized and grounded in scientific strategies.
