The Central Islip Union Free School District, Department of School Safety, in partnership with the Central Islip Union Free School District Community, strives to create a peaceful and safe environment in order to enhance the quality of the academic life at the Central Islip School District.
The Department of School Safety follows established New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services training requirements, and receive annual in-service training that addresses the ongoing needs of the Central Islip School District. Our staff has received additional training in AED/CPR, Bleeding Control, NARCAN, Emergency Response Plan, and National Incident Management (N.I.M.S.).
