Mulligan Music Students Shine at Spring Concert

Mulligan Elementary School closed the second week of the Central Islip spring concert series with impressive performances on Thursday night.

The night started with the fourth grade beginner chorale that sang Solfege Symphony, He Lives in You with solos from Michael Rhodes, Valentina Rodriguez and Liyah Dennis, and Waka Waka.

Ms. Laurie Klein entered with her fourth and fifth grade beginner band and conducted Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Donut Factory, and Pirate’s Cave.

The fifth and sixth grade concert choir, directed by Ms. Julia Bremer, performed four pieces: Solfege Mambo, Cumbia de Sol, For Good with duets of Joseph Sibayan & Adrianna Monette, Dillon Gobin & Eliza Amaya, Nevaeh Jones & Madison Donegan, and Yissel Gomez Fuentes & Mikala Jones, and Treasure with solos from Jensen Ogando, Douglas Martinez and Genesis Rubio Alfaro.

To close the concert, the sixth grade band starred with Awesome Sauce, Atlantis, How to Train Your Dragon, Double-Oh-Eight, and Starfire March.
