A Message from The Superintendent - 2026

Dear Central Islip Families, 

The Board of Education, Administration, Faculty and Staff welcome you back to school as we look ahead with anticipation to an exciting New Year! 

As we settle back into our routines of academia, we want to thank our parents and families for partnering with our entire school staff in supporting your children's education. Grammy award winning contemporary country singer, Brad Paisley, coined a phrase that conveys this thoughtful and appropriate message for our students to ponder: "Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365-page book . . ." Encourage your children to be creative, and inspire them to follow their dreams and achieve their goals.

We hope you will join us when the Music Department presents the final show of this season's Winter Concert Series featuring our high school student instrumentalists. These students, under the direction and tutelage of their music teachers, Mr. Jeremiah Ryan and Mr  Kevin Pyle, have prepared an entertaining program from their impressive repertoire. Please join us in the Central Islip High School auditorium on January 14 when the curtain rises at 6 p.m. to showcase two hours of fine music.

Please stay connected with your children's school for upcoming State testing information, and log onto our website and social media platforms to see the numerous academic, music, art and athletic achievements that are accomplished by our Musketeer students!

A special acknowledgment is extended to Facilities Director Mr. Matthew Providente and our Buildings and Grounds team, for maintaining parking lots and walkways free from snow and ice so that all who enter our school zones are safely able to navigate to their destinations.

As we look toward the New Year with anticipation, let's remember to incorporate acts of kindness into our daily routines.
