High School Cheer Camp Underway

The Central Islip High School cheerleading team kicked off its week-long youth summer camp on Monday afternoon as its first fundraiser of the school year.

Open to students entering first through sixth grade, the camp features sideline cheers, jumps, pyramids, tumbling, crafts and more.

Led by head varsity cheerleading coach Mrs. Rebecca Gallagher, members of the varsity squad are volunteering throughout the week to help inspire and mentor the next generation of Central Islip cheerleaders.
