Three Central Islip High School varsity track and field student athletes competed in the Suffolk County Section XI State Qualifier at Comsewogue High School.
The Reed Middle School softball team closed its season on Thursday afternoon at Reed against Saxton Middle School from Patchogue.
After finishing the regular season with an 11-7 record, the Central Islip High School varsity softball team earned a No. 10 seed in the Section XI Playoffs and defeated Sachem East High School on Tuesday, May 20.
The Reed Middle School baseball team played host to Connetquot on Monday afternoon as the season begins to wind down.

Central Islip High School senior Jasiah Gray officially committed to play football at the collegiate level.
Gray will be attending Buffalo State, a Division III school in upstate New York, to further his athletic career.
