Oh Boy, O'Neill! Music Students Dazzle at Winter Concert

On night three of the Central Islip Winter Concert Series, the O’Neill Elementary School music students took the collective breath away of audience members on Thursday night.

The O’Neill band, led by director, Mr. David Albani, performed an exciting set of music: “Au Claire De La Lune,” “Good King Wenceslas,” “Dreydl, Dreydl,” “Holiday Magic,” “A Rather Bumpy Sleigh Ride,” and “Jingle Bells.”

Mrs. Michele Scala, choral director, led her students through three numbers: “Warm and Fuzzy,” “December in My Hometown,” and “Run, Rudolph, Run.”

To close the evening, Mrs. Scala took a moment to thank the O'Neill and central office and call attention to her largest chorus class to date with 100 students on the risers.
