Reed Student Ambassadors, CIHS Choir Attend Sheriff's Inauguration
Dr. Errol D. Toulon Jr. was sworn in for the third time as Suffolk County Sheriff on Friday, January 16, with many Central Islip students in attendance.
The CIHS Concert Choir, under the direction of Mr. John Anthony, performed during the Sheriff’s inauguration ceremony and received a standing ovation.
Reed Middle School was also represented, with multiple participants from the Sheriff’s Student Ambassador Program present.
Also in attendance were Dr. Sharon A. Dungee, Superintendent of Schools; Mr. Philip K. Voigt, Director of Music and Technology; and Mr. Anthony Coggiano, Reed principal.
