Reed Hosts 19-Team Outdoor Soccer Tournament

Reed Middle School played host to a 19 team outdoor soccer tournament for its students on Friday, June 13. The winning team, "El Barrio," won medals and were able to celebrate upon the conclusion of the tournament.

Ran and organized by Reed teacher and coach, Mr. Anthony LaRocca, this event marked its 12th occurrence the last 12 years. 

"I started this tradition 11 years ago, and this one was off the charts," he said. "I had 19 teams made up of 180 students. Both bleachers were packed, and it was a really exciting time."

The event was also catered and served hundreds of students making it a successful day all around.
