As Veterans Day approaches, let us take a moment to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, and to honor those who continue to serve so that we, as Americans, may enjoy the freedoms that keep our Nation proud and strong. To all of our Veterans, on behalf of the Central Islip School District Community, thank you for your service!
Dr. Sharon A. Dungee, Superintendent of Schools, crossed campuses and visited Mulligan Elementary School on Thursday for a Superintendents Council meeting.
Students were called to meet with Dr. Sharon A. Dungee, Superintendent of Schools, for their first Superintendents Council meeting of the 2025-26 school year.
Veterans gathered at Mulvey Elementary School for a special Veterans Day Breakfast.

The Francis J. O'Neill Elementary School sixth grade student body enjoyed a special night of food, fellowship and fun, thanks to the efforts of the O'Neill sixth grade staff.
Students were treated to a special empanada dinner followed by a black light neon party in the gymnasium.
