O'Neill Sixth Graders Accept Diplomas, Look to Reed

Francis J. O’Neill Elementary School held its annual Moving Up Ceremony for sixth grade students on Wednesday afternoon at Reed Middle School.

Principal Mrs. Kristine LoCascio and Assistant Principal Dr. Andrew Canle offered congratulatory remarks before each student was called to the stage by their teachers to receive their diplomas. Prior to the presentations, a representative from each sixth grade class delivered a speech reflecting on their time at O’Neill.

To close the ceremony, Mrs. Scala’s chorus performed a selection of choral pieces, marking the official end of the elementary school chapter.
