O'Neill Entertains Audience with Impressive Performances

Wednesday’s spring concert by Francis J. O’Neill Elementary School’s band and chorus left the audience smiling and entertained with a series of fantastic musical performances.

Ms. Michele Scala, choral director, introduced her chorus before they performed an energetic set, which included: Don’t Stop Believin’ by Jonathan Cain, Neil Schon, and Steve Perry; Give a Little Love by Diane Warren and Albert Hammond; Ella Sings (with Blue Skies) by Kristina Rasmussen Collins; and September by Earth, Wind & Fire.

The fifth and sixth grade band, conducted by Mr. David Albani, capped off the second-to-last night of the spring concert series with four outstanding selections: Majestic March by Paul Lavender, Midnight Madness by Brian Balmages, American Mountain Medley arranged by Douglas E. Wagner, and Oompa Loompa, with words and music by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley.
