Musketeer Monday Part One: Jenna Smith, 12th Grade, CIHS

Q: What is your favorite subject in school, and why?
A: My favorite subject is History because I find it the most interesting.

Q: Are you involved in any school activities or clubs? If so, which ones?
A: Yes, I’m involved in Cheerleading, PTSA, and the National Honor Society.

Q: Have you ever taken on a leadership role at school?
A: No, I haven’t taken on a leadership role yet.

Q: Have you received any awards, honors, or special recognition?
A: Yes, I’ve been on the Honor Roll throughout all of high school and I’ve received the Section XI Academic All County Award three times.

Q: Do you participate in any activities outside of school?
A: Yes, I volunteer at St. John of God Church where I help teach catechism classes.

Q: Have you ever performed in a play or musical?
A: No, I haven’t.

Q: Who are your biggest role models in and outside of school?
A: Some of my biggest role models are my peers, who inspire me by how hard they work. Outside of school, my biggest role model is my mom because she has always supported me.

Q: What qualities do you believe make someone a good leader or role model in school?
A: I believe a good leader is hardworking, always positive, and persistent.

Q: How do you contribute to creating a positive environment at your school?
A: I try to stay positive and motivate both myself and others to work hard.

Q: Please list a teacher or staff member who has made a positive impact on you and explain why.
A: Mr. Turk has made a positive impact on me because he always brings positive energy to the classroom and encourages his students to do their best.

Q: What is your favorite part about your school?
A: My favorite part about school is being able to see my friends every day.

Q: What are some activities you enjoy in your spare time?
A: In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family.

Q: What’s your favorite book, movie, or TV show right now, and why?
A: My favorite movie right now is Coraline because fall just began, and it’s one of my favorite fall and Halloween movies.

Q: How would your friends describe you?
A: Hopefully, my friends would describe me as kind, loyal, and respectful.

Q: What does being a good classmate or friend mean to you?
A: It means a lot to me because who you surround yourself with matters and directly influences your goals and opinions.
