What inspired you to pursue a career in education?
The teachers and role models I was fortunate enough to have when I was in school. My goal is to become a role model for my future students on their way to pursuing their own education and future endeavors.

What do you enjoy most about being part of this school/district community?
The positive relationship our school district and community have in helping provide the best educational opportunities and experiences for our students.

What do you consider the most rewarding part of your job?
Going to work each day and the interactions I have with my peers and students, creating a positive learning environment and helping encourage students to communicate the content I teach outside of the classroom.

What are a few memorable moments you’ve had with students or colleagues?
Playing fun review games in class, helping support after-school activities like Wingo at Reed, and supporting my students at their sporting events.

Regina Ranaldo, for being an exemplary mentor during my first full year teaching within the district.

What’s your favorite event or tradition in our schools?
School spirit weeks throughout the year to bring CI Pride into the classroom with a variety of themes.

Where did you grow up / go to school?
I grew up in Farmingville, NY and graduated from Sachem High School East. I earned my degree from SUNY Cortland.

Do you have a favorite book, movie, or TV show? Tell us about them!
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, because life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Do you have a favorite quote or motto you live by?
“I wish there was a way to know you’re in the good old days before you’ve actually left them.” – Andy Bernard.

What are some activities you do in your spare time outside of school?
I like to attend professional sporting events.

If you could have dinner with any historical figure or celebrity, who would it be?
Adam Sandler.

If you weren’t in education or the field you're in now, what career would you choose?
