Morrow Band, Chorus Perform Spring Concert

Morrow Elementary School continued the Central Islip Spring Concert Series at the Reed Middle School auditorium on Tuesday night.

Mrs. Andrea Majeski’s fourth grade chorus started the program with Flower Chorus, Lift Up Your Voice with violist Angie Campos, and Michael Finnegan. Mrs. Elizabeth Giglio served as the accompanist.

The fourth grade band followed and was directed by Mr. Eduardo Lopez. His students performed Rolling Along, The Half Counts, Listen to Our Sections, and Hot Cross Buns.

Mrs. Majeski returned to the risers with her fifth and sixth grade chorus to sing In The Name of Music, Chumbara, and Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World, which featured a solo from Julianna Mercado and ukulele accompaniment from Ms. Combs.

The evening ended with Mr. Lopez’s fifth and sixth grade band performing Guardians, Clarinet Jive, Summer Thunder, and a piece written by Mr. Lopez himself, Bailes de Bachata.
