MBK Hosts Guest Speaker on Monday

The Central Islip High School My Brother's Keeper program hosted Dr. Warren Whitaker, Assistant Professor in the Educational Leadership for Diverse Learning Communities Ed.D. program at Molloy University, for coming to speak to our Central Islip High School MBK fellows on Monday afternoon.

The session was centered on public speaking and how to overcome fears and focus on the message being conveyed. This was the first of two workshops where MBK members applied the skills and strategies learned to deliver a 1-minute speech on a prompt provided by Dr. Whitaker.
