High Schools Welcomes Various Organizations for Job Fair

Central Islip High School hosted its annual Job, Vocational and Post-Secondary Career Fair on Monday night in the cafeteria.

The guidance department, led by Mr. Brian Deaner, organized the event and welcomed dozens of different organizations across a variety of different career fields.

The presenting organizations were ACCES-VR, Access Careers, Alliance Group Affiliates, Central Islip Public Library, Central Islip/Hauppauge Ambulance Corps, Department of Civil Service, Department of Environmental Conservation, Eastern Suffolk BOCES Adult Division, Electrical Training Center, Georgica Green Ventures (GGV), Great South Bay YMCA, Hunter Business School, Ideal School for Allied Health Care, International Barber & Beauty Institute, LIBS – Long Island Beauty School, LIEOC (Long Island Educational Opportunity Center), Lincoln Technical Institute, Molloy University, Nassau Community College, New York State Police, Northstar Following, Northwell Health, NYIT (Admissions), NYIT (Quantitative & Analytics), One Stop Employment Center / Suffolk County, Options for Community Living, Inc., PCALI Plumbing Institute, St. Joseph's University, Suffolk Community College (Admissions), Suffolk County Police Department, Teachers Federal Credit Union, The LEARN Center (Heavy Equipment), U.S. Air & Space Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, Valley National Bank, VEEB – Vocational Education and Extension Board, Workforce Development (Suffolk Community College), and YES (Mental Health & PAC Program).
