Cordello Hosts Annual Spelling Bee
Students gathered in the gym Monday morning for the Cordello Elementary School annual spelling bee.
Dr. Nathaniel Marner, Cordello principal, commended the students for participating and credited their hard work and bravery to perform in front of their peers. Mrs. Yenifer Mercado, Cordello assistant principal, reminded everyone to cheer on their classmates regardless if they spell correctly or not.
Keler Reyes was crowned champion, and Sophia Castro earned silver while Isabella Morcillo took home bronze.
