Cordello Collects Hundreds of Items for "Soup-er Bowl"
Cordello Elementary School held its third annual “Soup-er Bowl” in honor of the NFL’s Super Bowl and helped collect 693 food items for the district’s food pantry.
Mrs. Logan’s fifth grade class collected 137 cans, which earned them the top prize and a board game party during the school day.
Dr. Nathaniel Marner and Mrs. Yenifer Mercado, principal and assistant principal, visited the students to commend them for their hard work and for helping take care of the Central Islip community.
