Ashley Reyes Earns $4,000 in Scholarship Competition

Ashley Reyes, a Central Islip High School senior, has been named a Semi-Finalist in the Elks National Scholarship Competition.

As a semi-finalist, Ashley advances to the judging round of the Most Valuable Student (MVS) Competition and has already secured a $4,000 scholarship toward a four-year college or university. Finalists in the competition have the opportunity to earn scholarships of up to $30,000.

Out of more than 20,000 applicants nationwide, Ashley was selected as one of the top 500 students in the country.
