Alfano Begins PARP with Special Guests
Alfano Elementary School's teachers helped create energy and excitement for PARP month on Wednesday morning by leading an engaging assembly.
Ms. Zara led first grade students through a special song about reading before the students watched a video that involved their teachers sharing their favorite book titles.
Shortly after, the Long Island Ducks mascot, Quacker Jack, and the Alfano mascot, The Elephant, entered the gymnasium and competed in friendly relays to determine a champion.
