Morrow Gracefully Closes Night One of Winter Concerts

Morrow Elementary School capped the first night of the Winter Concert Series with phenomenal performances by all students.

The fifth and sixth grade chorus, led by Mrs. Andrea Majeski, sang three songs: “Merry Christmas,” “Sweet Silent Night,” and “Sparklejollytwinklejingley,” which featured a solo by Amiriyah Castillo.

Mr. George McKenzie, high school music teacher, was the accompanist for the evening.

Mr. Eduardo Lopez, band director, directed his first band concert as a Central Islip music teacher.

His band entertained the audience with four holiday songs: “Deep Pockets,” “Jingle Bells,” “Doodle All Day,” and “A Suite for Old St. Nick.”
