National Honor Society Raises Over $500 for Food Drive
On Saturday, November 9, the National Honor Society conducted its annual food drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Vanderbilt Shopping Center.
The event raised over $500 and collected several boxes of non-perishable items just in time for Thanksgiving.
The National Honor Society is grateful to the Central Islip community for giving back and helping to feed families through the Central Islip Civic Council.
NHS would also like to extend its thanks to Bravo and Dollar Tree/Family Dollar for helping make this event possible.
