More Awards! High School Students Honored for Challenge Win
Heisel Fuentes Delgado and Allyson Saravia received awards from the Long Island Regional Council and the Town of Islip for winning the Long Island Water Quality Challenge at the Central Islip High School little theater on Thursday, May 22.
Multiple town officials, including Town of Islip councilman Jorge Guadrón, attended and extended their praises to our students.
Dr. Sharon A. Dungee, superintendent of schools, and Mr. Eric Haruthunian, principal of Central Islip High School, offered congratulatory remarks before Mr. Michael Soldano praised his students for their hard work.
Richard Guardino, Executive Director of the LIRPC, congratulated the students and presented them with an award before posing for photos.
