The Central Islip Music Department completed its Winter Concert series on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, with spirited performances from the symphonic band, jazz ensemble and wind ensemble.
"Stand behind the line before you throw," was a phrase that was uttered continuously in the Central Islip High School cafeteria on Friday afternoon.
The Central Islip High School concert choir has performed in a variety of remarkable places, but their latest performance may stand out as their most unforgettable yet.
Many CIHS students from Student Council and the Student Action Committee spent Saturday before the holidays volunteering with New York State Senator Monica Martinez's Holiday Toy Distribution.

The high school PTSA put together a memorable night for Central Islip High School students at the 2024 homecoming dance on Friday night.
The theme was "Enchanted Forest," and over 150 tickets were sold.
Students were able to purchase concessions and enjoy the music in their cafeteria.
