Message from the Superintendent - May 21 2025

Dear Central Islip Community,

Thank you for supporting the 2025–2026 Central Islip School District Budget. This budget represents an investment in our children’s education by providing a safe and enriching environment, while also maintaining the structural integrity of our school buildings, grounds, and facilities. It remains within the New York State 2% Tax Levy Cap and reflects a fiscally responsible plan that aligns with our community’s capacity to support a wide range of programs—including academics, athletics, music, instructional technology, advanced placement, and intervention services—designed to help all students achieve their personal best.

Congratulations are also extended to Mr. Glenn Mitchell and Mr. Luis Alcantara on their election to serve three-year terms on the Board of Education.

On behalf of the Board of Education, administration, faculty, and staff, thank you for your continued partnership. Together, we look forward to the many exciting and enriching opportunities that await our students in the 2025–2026 school year.
