Message from the Superintendent - June 2024

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

As we look back at the 2023-2024 School Year, I hope that our students, families, and community have reaped the benefits of the numerous athletic games, after-school activities, clubs, music concerts, and special events that our School District has showcased.

On a very important note, with finals and year-end testing upon us, I wish all our students at every grade level a successful conclusion to the school year. Students, the hard work and diligent studying you invested in your schoolwork throughout the year will be reflected in your year-end grades. Please take advantage of every opportunity to do your best as we approach the finish line. By making good studying, eating, and rest habits your main focus, you can confidently say that you did your very best.

Your hard work will culminate with moving up and graduation ceremonies, marking another successful milestone along your educational journey. The Board of Education, Administration, Faculty, and Staff look forward to celebrating your successes as the end of the school year draws closer.

In closing, I share this profound quote by United States Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor: You cannot dream of becoming something you do not know about. You have to learn to dream big. Education exposes you to what the world has to offer, to the possibilities open to you.

Sincere Best Wishes,
Dr. Sharon A. Dungee
