Kwesi Amoa Highlighted in Rhode Island College Profile

Kwesi Amoa, a 2019 graduate of Central Islip High School, was recently featured in a profile piece by Rhode Island College, where he is set to graduate this spring.

During his time at Central Islip, Amoa was a standout athlete, serving as a four-year varsity wrestler and team captain during his junior and senior years. His achievements include becoming a league champion and earning the title of Central Islip’s ninth Suffolk County Wrestling Champion in school history.

Amoa’s success has continued at Rhode Island College, where he has excelled both academically and athletically, earning recognition as a National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-American while pursuing a degree in biology.
