Dr. Dungee Visits Summer Enrichment Program on Day Two
Noting the excitement on the faces of hundreds of students, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Sharon A. Dungee visited the Elementary Summer Enrichment Program at O'Neill Elementary to observe the wide array of activities taking place throughout the month.
The Summer Enrichment Program offers educational initiatives aimed at bridging the learning gap between grade levels during summer vacation. Dr. Dungee noted the significance of the program which keeps students' minds and bodies active, so their time is spent in a productive manner.
Elementary Summer Enrichment Program Principal, Tracy Rentz, noted that an estimated 300 students are benefitting from the merits of the program.
