Breakfast with Santa Success, Community Comes Together on Saturday

The Central Islip School District brought its families together on Saturday morning in a heartwarming way.

The high school PTA hosted “Breakfast with Santa” in the cafeteria. High school students volunteered their time to serve food and help with raffle tickets for the community.

The highly-acclaimed show choir performed its two songs for the second time in as many days after headlining the Central Islip Fire Department tree lighting.

Among those in attendance were Dr. Sharon A. Dungee, superintendent of schools, Mrs. Debra Cavanagh, board vice president, and board trustees, Mr. Glenn C. Mitchell and Mrs. Michele Harriott.

High school principal, Mr. Eric Haruthunian, also was in attendance to witness his community thrive in serving others around Central Islip.
