All Treat, No Trick! Safe Halloween Fun at High School
- District News
On the night before Halloween, the Central Islip community donned their spooky clothing for a night of fun.
The Central Islip High School student council, under the advisement of Mr. Mitchell Cottrell, hosted a Safe Halloween night where students 11 and younger were able to “trick or treat” around the halls of the school.
Decorations were hung throughout the new wing and many high schoolers and staff volunteered their time to help with this fun event.
The event yielded many successful numbers. The volunteers collected 6 full boxes for the food drive, over 350 children and their families came, and over100 students volunteered and the creativity of their costumes was in full display.
