Cordello Music Department Caps Night Two of Winter Concert Series

To cap an entertaining second night of the Winter Concert Series, the Cordello Elementary School music department prepared beautiful pieces to share with its families and friends in attendance.

Ms. Alexa Ruggiero, choral director, guided her students through three holiday songs: “Duermete,” “A Holiday Sing Along,” and “A Holly Jolly Christmas.”

The band, led by Mr. Patrick Hait, performed four selections: “Manhattan Beach,” “First Fallen Snow,” “March Royale,” and “Six Note Santa.”

Three Cordello students practiced their conducting skills by leading the band through the final three songs.

Dania Mejia conducted, “Good King Wenceslas,” Jake Flores led the band through, “My Dreydl,” and Bryan Chicas Flores concluded the performance with a holiday classic, “Jingle Bells.”
