Special Kindness Day! Mrs. Richardson's Class Mixes Yellow & Blue

Mrs. Richardson's kindergarten class at Alfano had a special activity planned for kindness day.

Students visited Mr. Stewart's room for an art activity centered around the book, "Little Yellow, Little Blue." The class watched a recording of the book being read to understand how certain colors yield other colors when mixed.

Each student had their own smock and a white piece of paper that half the class painted yellow and half painted blue. Both sides lined up and hugged each other with the papers pressed against each other to make green.

Dr. Sharon A. Dungee, superintendent of schools, and Mrs. Carmen Vazquez, principal, came to witness the heartwarming activity.
