Eight Alfano art students were given custom certificates of achievement by Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Sharon A. Dungee, on Tuesday afternoon.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Sharon A. Dungee visited the ladies from the Alfano kitchen staff with Principal Ms. Carmen Vazquez, to congratulate them on their efforts to improve school cafeteria food.
There was some fantastic art work being created inside Alfano Elementary School.
Students from Alfano's Music Club went to New York City to watch a performance of The Nutcracker by the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony.
