Bird's Eye View! Alfano Students Witness Wildlife in Assembly

Alfano Elementary School welcomed a few mystery animals inside its gymnasium on Wednesday. The Wildlife Center of Long Island visited the student body to give an assembly on preservation of wildlife and natural habitats in their own backyard.

Two volunteers led four assemblies for all grade levels and showed the students three animals: a turtle, falcon and opossum. 

While explaining key facts about the creatures, everyone in attendance was able to get a front-row seat to wildlife they may have never seen before.
