Education is like music to my ears! Whenever you think about music, you should always remember that you can make great music through practice and perserverance. It is the same with education. The amount of work (practice) that you put into your studies will equate to the outcome (perserverance) on local and state assessments. These assessments can range from grades on your report card, scores on Regents and even SATs and AP Examinations. The secret is setting up a schedule of practice (reading and studying) and maintaining that schedule (perserverance). Everything that I have through education (my degrees) were earned. No one can take them away from me. This is the attitude that was instilled in me by my parents. When I started school, I never envisioined that I would earn a terminal degree, the doctorate, but once I did set my mnd with the encouragement of teachers and counselors along the way, I focused on practice (reading and studying) and perserverance (maintaining the schedule) in order to attain the goal -- Doctor of Education-- from an established University.
