Morrow Elementary School celebrated their Moving Up Ceremony attended by their families, school board members, administrators, teachers, staff, PTA and special guests. Joining the students were School Board President Norman A. Wagner, school board members William G. Softy and Glenn C. Mitchell, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Howard M. Koenig, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Sharon A. Dungee, Morrow Elementary Principal Dr. Neema Coker, PTA President Maureen Esposito and Islandia Village Mayor Allan M. Dorman. Dr. Coker, Dr. Koenig, Mr. Wagner, Mrs. Esposito and Mayor Dorman offered words of wisdom to the students and congratulated their families before convening to the cafeteria for cake and beverages, compliments of the Morrow PTA. The Board of Education and Administration congratulate the members of Morrow Elementary School's 6th Grade Class as they prepare to move up to Reed Middle School in September.
