A standing room only audience enjoyed dancers and music, then enjoyed an international buffet courtesy of cuisine from local businesses including Pollo Campero, Mary's Pasta & Pizza, Lempa Deli, Central Pizza, La Espiguita, El Fogon, El Pilon and Dunkin Donuts. Pre-kindergarten student Ethan Rojas' father, Mr. Walter Rojas demonstrated and played "pan flutes," or Quechua which are handmade instruments made of bamboo, School Social Worker Edgar Escobar showcased his talents on the quenas and que nachos (recorders). The event was a culmination of activities, including a multicultural museum designed to promote diversity. A multi cultural poster contest reflected a wide array of ethnicities which students shared and celebrated. Winners of the poster contest are: Allen Mojica, Jayden Saint-Surin, Ahmed Elnicklawy, Adalia Avalos, Genesis Morales, Brayden Maeda, Jaymie Coliondres, Yaniel Ortiz, Hibba Asif Saadi, Shyla Leonard, Anderson Antunez, Viviana Velasquez, Zachary Hernandez, Camila Urrutia and Nayeli Martinez.
